Man suspected of robbing Elmurst bank twice

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A man suspected of robbing an Elmhurst bank branch in June robbed the same location Monday.

He is also suspected in another DuPage County robbery earlier this year.

The man robbed the Inland Bank branch at 539 Spring St. in Elmhurst on Monday, according to the FBI's Bandit Tracker website. The man is suspected of robbing the same bank branch on June 11.

He is also suspected in the May 2 robbery of the Chase Bank branch at 123 Main St. in Bensenville, the FBI said.

No weapon was shown in any of the robberies.

The suspect is described as a 35- to 45-year-old white man wearing black lens and framed glasses, the FBI said. He is 6-feet to 6-feet-1 with brown hair and a medium build.

A reward is being offered in the cases and anyone with information about the suspect should call the FBI Chicago office at (312) 421-6700.
