CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Chicago police said a little bit of "policeman's intuition" helped them catch a double murder suspect.
Ronnell Jones was wanted for murdering two people in a botched New York robbery two years ago.
By coincidence, members of the Chicago gang unit found Jones and another man drinking in a car last month on the Southwest Side, during a routine traffic stop.
Jones had no criminal history in this city, which could have led to his release.
But officers did some detective work, including simply Googling his name. They found Jones had quite a story.
He was featured on "America's Most Wanted" for those New York murders, and Jones changed his appearance - and even dressed in drag - to avoid capture.
Jones is still awaiting extradition back to New York.
