CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The big story of the week in the entertainment world has to be the Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes divorce. Rumors of scientology involvement and prenuptial drama tops Bill Zwecker's report.

Kanye West collaborator Frank Ocean has just declared he is gay. He is from the rap group Odd Future, and worked with Kanye on "Watch the Throne."

Ocean posted a long blog describing his relationship with another man. He wrote about how difficult this journey has been for him, but said he now feels like a free man.

In the wake of his coming-out announcement, he has received tremendous support from the industry as well as his past collaborators and fans.

The new Jimi Hendrix biopic apparently won't feature any actual Jimi Hendrix tunes. The film stars Outkast's Andre 3000.

Rolling Stone reports the estate that controls Hendrix's music has not signed off on the film. So instead, audiences will see the lead character covering classics from the Beatles and other artists.

Producers plan to debut the movie at Sundance next year.

The royal newlyweds made a splash at Wimbledon Wednesday.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were front and center in the royal box for Roger Federer's match. The couple looked happy and relaxed, chatting with other fans nearby.

Federer said the royal couple's presence helped inspire him to win.

"The Amazing Spider-Man" swung into theaters Tuesday, and the movie is doing some solid business.

"Spider-Man" pulled in $35 million in its first 24 hours, which is a record for a film opening on a Tuesday. That includes more than $7 million from midnight screenings.

"The "Spider-Man" reboot stars Andrew Garfield as the web slinger, and real-life girlfriend Emma Stone as his love interest.

Katy Perry's autobiographic documentary "Part of Me" opens Thursday.

The 3D concert film/documentary follows the pop diva behind the scenes on tour as her marriage to Russell Brand crumbles.

Oliver Stone's new film "Savages" hits theaters Friday. It's a violent suspense drama about a war between a Mexican drug cartel and southern California pot farmers.

The film, based on the novel by Don Winslow, has a great cast including Aaron Johnson, Blake Lively, Taylor Kitsch, John Travolta, Benicio Del Toro and Salma Hayek.

Director Oliver Stone joined Good Day Chicago live from New York to talk about his film.

The gospel musical sensation "Crowns" has returned to Chicago for a run at the Goodman Theatre.

Cast members Felicia Fields and E. Faye Butler joined Good Day Chicago to talk about what the show mean: going back to your roots and embracing the idea of family and culture.

When asked about their reaction to the escalating violence in Chicago, the ladies said that we need to take back our children, and teach them to value life again, and that's the essence of this show.
