CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
A couple and their 4-year-old child had to be rescued after they fell off a raft in Lake Michigan Wednesday evening.
The two adults and a 4-year-old boy fell off the raft near 51st Street and Lake Shore Drive in the lake about 5:29 p.m., according to police News Affairs. The boy was rescued by a police Marine Unit, and told police the adults swam to shore.
They are presumably a man and woman and the parents of the toddler, according to News Affairs.
Officials were searching for the adults, but Fire Media Affairs said about 6 p.m. that everyone was out of the water safely, and no one had to be taken to the hospital.
