We are under a Heat Advisory from Noon until 8:00 PM Thursday. Humidity will increase with highs between 100-105 and a heat index (feels-like) temperature of 100-110.
A Lake Breeze may develop late in the day providing slight relief from the heat downtown. Thursday evening and overnight a cold front approaches and isolated storms may develop.
Isolated storms are possible again Friday and over the weekend as that front stalls over the area possibly creating a large temperature difference north and south of the front. However ,most of us will remain dry and hot in the 90s.
An Air
Pollution Action Day has been issued for Thursday as well. Remember you can
check out heat safety tips, Heat Stroke Symptoms and Heat Trivia in our Beat the Heat Survival Guide.
