Vehicle carjacked with baby inside, recovered

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Chicago Police say someone stole a car with an infant in the back seat on the South Side.

The car and the baby were found abandoned just 10 minutes later.

The incident started at 104th and Rhodes Thursday.

The baby's mother says she was loading things into the car, when someone jumped in, and drove off.

Police found the car a short time later about five blocks away. The baby is fine.

Police are still looking for the carjacker.
