One powerful Chicago alderman is not onboard with Mayor Rahm Emanuel's plan to decriminalize marijuana.
Ald. Ed Burke says he thinks that ticketing small amounts of marijuana could send the wrong message to teenagers.
He also says people with fake or no ID's could skip out on the ticket.
The mayor says the plan lets police officers decide whether to write a ticket or charge offenders with a misdemeanors if they're caught with 15 grams or less of the drug.
