Chris Brown vs. Drake, Bobby Brown vs. Bobbi Kristina and Bears vs. Packers

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

As New York authorities continue to investigate the wild brawl between the entourages of Chris Brown and Drake, sources tell me it was a comment about Rihanna made by a member of Drake's posse that started the fists - and bottles - flying.

Brown, of course, has reportedly quietly reconnected with Rihanna romantically - and Drake has long been a friend and collaborator of hers, rumored to also have had a fling with the superstar beauty.

Brown got his chin cut in the mad scuffling, a female New Zealand tourist got her head badly cut and now she is said to be inundated with attorneys offering to represent her in a lawsuit against both rappers and W.i.P., the club where the violent altercation took place.

In the meantime, New York authorities have used the fight as an excuse to shutter W.i.P., already targeted for various violations of ordinances regulating Big Apple taverns.

It might have been Father's Day weekend and Bobby Brown was all set to marry fiancée Alicia Etheridge in Hawaii but Brown's daughter Bobbi Kristina preferred to remain in New York.

According to a source close to Whitney Houston's only child, Bobbi Kristina told her dad she couldn't attend his nuptials with his longtime girlfriend (with whom he's already fathered a child) because she had to film scenes for her new reality show.

"That was just an excuse," said the source. "She could easily have adjusted the taping schedule if she wanted to. She didn't want to go....their estrangement is only getting more intense."

Working long hours - often 20 hours per day - on the set of Lifetime's upcoming "Liz & Dick" haven't just worn out star Lindsay Lohan.

Two crew members also needed medical attention this weekend, suffering from "severe hydration and exhausion."

This will be fun! Current and former members of one of the biggest NFL rivalries - the Chicago Bears and the Green Bear Packers - will face off in the first "Rivalry Cub" golf event at Medinah Country Club Monday.

Among those expected to hit the links to both boost the upcoming Ryder Cup at Medinah, and raise funds for Bears and Packers charities are Kevin Butler, Richard Dent, Robbie Gould, Patrick Mannelley, James "Big Cat" Williams, Lynn Dickey, John Kuhn and Mason Crosby.
