June 18: Sticky, sweaty days ahead

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The heat gets turned up over the next couple of days here in Chicago.

Normal highs should top out near 80 degrees but we'll be in the mid 90s on Monday and Tuesday.

Look for winds to get above 35 mph on Monday as well.

Temperatures cool back to near normal by Thursday with temps in the low 80s and another chance of rain.

 

Monday: Sunny, windy and hot. High near 95. Low in the mid 70s.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy in the morning then clearing. High near 95. Lows in the mid 70s.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 90s. Lows in the mid 70s.

Thursday: Partly sunny with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 80s and lows in the upper 60s.

Friday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 80s and lows in the upper 60s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs in the low 80s. Lows in the mid 60s.

Sunday: Sunny and very warm. Highs in the low 90s. Lows in the lower 70s.
