CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Cubs' president Theo Epstein brought a little bit of Boston with him to Chicago Thursday night.

The Chicago transplant hosted the "Hot Stove Cool Music" concert. It's a charity concert that's been held every year since 2000 in Boston.

The Smashing Pumpkins were among those performing Thursday night.

In addition to the musical and comedy acts, there was a silent auction to raise money for disadvantaged Chicago youth.
