Straight North is looking for a talented Entry Level User Experience Designer to join the team at our office in Oak Brook, IL. The focus of this position will be to engineer web experiences, working with designers, copywriters and developers to see your work come to life. Responsibilities
Create user personas, site maps and wireframes
Improve your abilities in the creation of documents to support designing the user experience
Learn to collaborate with web designers, copywriters and developers
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human factors, visual/graphic design or related experience
Online portfolio showcasing your work
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and prototyping software tools
Understanding of information architecture and usability
Prototyping skills including sketching, wireframes and information visualization
Ability to multi,task, prioritize and communicate progress throughout each project
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
Excellent communication skills
