Makino is currently seeking PQS Field Service Engineers for their entry level training program. This 2 year formal training program will prepare candidates to assume the role of Field Service Engineer in Elgin / Chicago, IL.
You'll need to be a team player and a self-starter with a strong work ethic, and MUST have:
2 Year Technical degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Automation, 4 Year Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience via military training
Educational knowledge of electronics
Good electro-mechanical skills (motors, drives, transformers)
Excellent communication skills
Rational decision making and problem solving ability
Detail orientation with a high degree of accuracy
Availability for extensive and ongoing travel, depending on customer needs
