CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Vandals threw paint on an Oak Park Catholic church early Tuesday.

The pastor at Ascension Catholic Church said someone splattered red paint on the doors around 7 a.m.

Pastor Lawrence McNally said he's angry - but can't figure out why people would vandalize the church.

It's also had between $300-$400 stolen from donation boxes in the last five weeks.
