No one was reported injured when fire in a building in the West Side Austin neighborhood spread to a second building before firefighters could extinguish the blaze.
Firefighters responded about 4:45 p.m. to a fire in a two-story, 75-by-50-foot building at 5261 W. North Ave., according to Fire Media.
The first building was reported to be "heavily involved" in flames, which also spread to a three-story 50-by-50-foot building in the same block, Fire Media said.
No injuries were reported. The still-and-box alarm was canceled and fire extinguished by about 5:10 p.m., Fire Media said. Initial searches of the buildings found no one inside.
Division Avenue remained closed in the area as of 5:10 p.m.
