CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
President Obama and his family will be back in Chicago this weekend, most likely to attend the wedding of the of the daughter of his close adviser, Valerie Jarrett.
The White House is keeping mum on whether President and Mrs. Obama will attend Jarrett's daughter Laura's wedding. But sources tell me guests are being so carefully briefed on security issues -- it would have to take some sort of international crisis to pre-empt the Obama's plans for Saturday.
So we can expect the first couple will attend Laura Jarrett's wedding to longtime beau Tony Balkisson , a fellow attorney she met at Harvard Law School.
It's all happening in Laura's grandmother Barbara Bowman's backyard, located just one block from the Obama's south side home.
The guest list has been kept as tightly-guarded, as a state secret, but many expect the attendees to be a mix of longtime personal friends from Hyde Park, and political associates of Valerie Jarrett's.
