STICKNEY, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A bank branch inside a west suburban Jewel-Osco was robbed for the second time this year on Monday morning.

The robbery occurred at 10:06 a.m. at a TCF Bank branch inside a Jewel-Osco at 7122 W. 40th St. in Stickney, according to Brent Tureson, a Stickney police communication supervisor.

The suspect handed a teller a note demanding cash and indicating he had a gun, according to the FBI.

The robber never displayed a gun, but was given cash and ran away, the FBI said. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white man with a medium build in his late 30s to early 40s, 5-foot-9 to 6 feet with a gray goatee.

The same bank was robbed Jan. 15 and no one has been arrested yet for the earlier crime, according to the FBI's BanditTracker Chicago.

Anyone with information should contact the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
