Congressman Joe Walsh takes heat for recent speech

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Congressman Joe Walsh is taking heat for another speech he gave that ended up on YouTube.
Speaking to constituents last week in Schaumburg, he said democrats want people dependent on the government. He cited certain groups*of people.
He said, among other things, "this campaign will come down to fundamental differences on the role of government -- Joe believes in the people -- Tammy believes in the government."
Tammy Duckworth's spokeswoman responded with this -- "Congressman Walsh's remarks are not only offensive, they are especially irresponsible coming from a sitting member of congress. Residents of the 8th district deserve better than this."
