Second suicide jump from Northwestern Hospital garage

For the second time since mid-April, a woman has jumped to her death off a Northwestern Memorial Hospital parking garage in the Streeterville neighborhood.
Lorretta Kim, 54, died early Monday after she jumped from the 11th floor of the Northwestern Memorial Hospital parking garage in the 300 block of East Erie Street, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. She jumped to her death about 1:30 a.m., police said.
Kim, of the 2000 block of North Cleveland Avenue, was dead on the scene, according to the medical examiner's office.
An autopsy Monday fund that she suffered multiple injuries from a fall from height and her death was ruled a suicide, the medical examiner's office said.
On April 12, a 34-year-old woman -- Christina Barkley, of the 400 block of East Ohio Street -- also jumped to her death from the parking structre in the 300 block of East Erie. An autopsy determined that Barkley also suffered multiple injuries from a fall from height and her death was ruled a suicide, the medical examiner's office said.
On May 20, a 40-year-old West Side man, Yacoub Yoseff, jumped to his death from the 26th floor of a building in the 200 block of East Erie Street.
