CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Residents of the South Loop got a personal "thank you" from Mayor Emanuel on Tuesday, for their patience during the NATO Summit.
The Mayor was at the red line station on Roosevelt, just over a mile from where the biggest protest of the weekend happened.
Things are getting back to normal for businesses in the area, too.
A number of them that had boarded up their windows to prevent damage took the boards off this morning.
