A 12 year-old boy was shot and killed late Saturday night near his South Side home.
Police said the boy was playing outside with other kids on the block when his father told him to come inside. Two men then came out of a gangway and one of them opened fire.
According to police, the boy was shot in the head, and died at the scene. It's not clear if the boy was targeted.
