Nurses from Los Angeles and San Francisco are in Chicago to meet up with hundreds more and protest this weekend during the NATO Summit.
Many of these nurses take care of patients who can't afford their own medical bills. They want to change things before hospitals across the nation start treating patients like customers. They're trying to get out the word about what's called the "Robin Hood Tax," which they say could generate enough money to take care of every American.
"It's time for wall street to put their fair share in and help us get people back on their feet," said Karen Higgins of National Nurses United. "Get jobs back in this country, get people back in their homes, get a healthcare system that actually takes care of everybody."
While they're rallying at Daley Plaza Friday afternoon, they said they will be respectful of Chicago, the people and the property and the world leaders the city is playing host to during the NATO Summit.
They've walked, rallied and marched in other cities, but the stage is bigger here and the audience is much more powerful.
