CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Chicago will see a protest of 10,000 people by some estimates on Sunday during the NATO summit. That will include many out of town visitors.
Thursday's international protestors said simultaneous protests against NATO will occur in a dozen other countries around the world.
Inge Hoger of the German Bundestag and Philippine congresswoman Emmi de Jesus spoke at the press conference. These parliamentary representatives said NATO ignores human needs.
The United National Peace protestors said they will have 1,500 protestors from 12-13 nations. They will provide the international voice during Sunday's demonstration.
The group said if there's one thing NATO has accomplished thus far, it has revived the international anti-war effort.
