A group of Detroit mothers who've lost their children to violence are taking a stand.
They're urging the community to take an active role in the lives of all Detroit's children to help stem the tide of violence.
They're organizing a walk to raise awareness on Saturday, August 6 at 3:30 p.m.
They're asking participants to meet at the McDonald's at Joy and Southfield.
