When NATO meets this weekend, leaders of the organization will be facing three major issues.
At the top of the agenda will be ways to end the war in Afghanistan. NATO is committed to staying there until 2014, but many leaders want to pull out sooner.
The group will also deal with concerns the alliance could fall apart if the United States is forced to keep taking on the toughest fights and most of the expenses.
NATO leaders will also discuss a missile defense shield for Europe to protect against possible attacks from Iran and North Korea.
