LAMAR COUNTY, Ga. -

A major cache of weapons, drugs and bomb making equipment has been seized in Lamar County.

Georgia's Department of Natural Resources Ranger 1st Class Keith Page responded to a home Monday afternoon after a neighbor complained a deer had been shot out of season.

"She heard four shots around lunchtime," said Page.

The blood trail led him to a home on Lamar County Line Road.

Page says that just inside the wood line, he discovered an exploded pipe bomb, which is when he knew he had much more than a deer poaching case.

"Got a search warrant into the house and the situation turned into something much larger than what we originally thought it was," said Page.

Police arrested 23-year-old Seth Roberts and 22-year-old Wesley Peters and found 14 rifles and 15 handguns along with ammo vests, MREs and survivalist gear.

Lamar County Sheriff's Cpt. Todd Pippen said they also seized ammunition, two pounds of high-grade marijuana, an anarchist cookbook, and gas masks. Pippen showed FOX 5's George Franco pictures of bomb-making equipment and two pipe bombs marked "Tacks A Hoy" and "Nails Ahoy."

"They have shrapnel inside of them which could cause serious bodily injury or death to another," said Pippin.

DNR, Lamar County Sheriff's Office, the GBI and now the FBI are investigating to determine what was intended for all this gear.

"I'm glad we got to it before somebody got seriously injured or even killed," Page said.

Investigators said there is no evidence that the men have used any of the bombs or guns to hurt anyone to this point.

They are facing charges connected to the drugs, pipe bombs and bomb-making equipment.
