Dr. Oz explains that when ovaries stop making estrogen as menopause starts getting closer, ovaries also stop making testosterone. Dr. Oz further clarifies that testosterone is important for making muscle mass. Without this muscle mass, areas like Rosie's stomach become more prevalent. Dr. Oz notes that Rosie's C-section may play a role in her existing excess stomach fat, and that he would need to do an examination to find out more about that relation.
Dr. Oz states that the best remedy for eliminating belly fat is to work on maintaining good posture, and to work on establishing good core body strength through exercise.
