
Three people were arrested last Friday in connection with an indoor cannabis operation valued at more than $100K bear northwest suburban Huntley.
The McHenry County Sheriff's Office Narcotics unit and K-9 unit investigated a tip about the operation at 12509 Hensel Rd. in unincorporated Huntley, and found enough evidence to obtain a search warrant, a release from the sheriff's office said.
Detectives discovered the indoor pot farm and seized about 100 cannabis plants, lights and other items, according to the release.
Kristine M. Depew, 32, of Huntley was charged with manufacturing of cannabis, production of cannabis sativa plants, possession of cannabis, and obstruction of justice destruction of evidence, all felonies. Depew was also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a peace officer. She is being held on a $30,000 bond, according to police.
Danny W. Depew, 40, was also charged with manufacturing of cannabis, production of cannabis sativa plants, possession of cannabis, obstruction of justice destruction of evidence, all felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. He is being held on $40,000 bond, according to police.
Mike A. Mason, 39, of Streamwood, was charged with felony obstruction of a peace officer and was being held on a $15,000 bond, police said.
All three are scheduled to appear in court on May 23.
