Brafton is looking for a new content marketing account manager.

Brafton is the news agency that creates Custom News and Content as a marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) strategy for website owners. Custom articles are written by in-house journalists and are unique to each client, delivered automatically to their website daily and shared through email, social media and search engines. We are high growth, extremely ambitious and looking for our next client retention/sales executive.

Your Role:
Your role is end to end management of the client relationship, with a primary focus on revenue retention and service up-selling.

We are looking for true in-person consultants, who can command a room, demonstrate and sell return on investment, manage risk, and negotiate contracts.

We will provide you the means to draw from multiple editorial, social, SEO and email marketing resources within Brafton to deliver complex content marketing strategies, report on ROI, and resolve and promote clients strategies in order to retain and grow our business relationships.

This role requires up to 60% travel to client sites.

Background:

• A proven people influencer with fantastic sales, interpersonal and business development and retention skills.
• Experience managing and retaining an existing client base ideally with subscription revenue.
• Strong content marketing, internet marketing, social media marketing, editorial knowledge, interest and experience.
• Highly intelligent, energetic and articulate.
• Exceptional analytical skills and business intelligence.
• Bachelor degree and minimum of two years work experience ideally in a traveling outside sales capacity.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage, retain and grow business relationships with existing clients.
• Liaise with clients in person and over the phone. Be the face of the company and influence through content marketing expertise and interpersonal presence.
• Manage risk and opportunity and provide detailed content marketing consultancy in the context of Brafton's custom news and content feeds.
• Interpret and present statistical reporting highlighting ROI and strategy development
• Negotiate contracts and payment terms.
• Client Site Travel (60%)

Location: Chicago
Salary: Base of $50K-$70K DOE with an additional $50K in bonuses annually OTE
