CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A long commute could have a negative effect on your waistline.

A new study says people who drive long distances to work are more likely to be overweight and have poorer fitness levels than people who live close to their jobs.

People who drove longer distances to work had larger waistline, lower cardiovascular fitness levels, higher blood pressure and higher body-mass index.
