CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Hundreds of workersat the UIC Medical Centercould be going on strike very soon.

The ServiceEmployees International Union is voting Monday and Tuesday on whether it wantsa strike.

They've been stuckin negotiations with the school over wages in their contract.

One nurse said theyhaven't had a wage increase in six years.

The union includesa variety of service employees, including nurses, social workers, and medicaltechnicians.
