Florida man receives Shedd Aquarium postcard 55 years late - Chicago News and Weather | FOX 32 News

On Thursday, a man who got a postcard from the Shedd Aquarium 55-years late got to visit the aquarium in person.

In 1957, Scott McMurray's mom and dad visited Chicago. They sent him a postcard from the Shedd, but it ended up in Daytona Beach, Florida. It wasn't until this spring that the recipient tracked McMurray down.

When the Shedd heard about this, they invited McMurray to come visit Chicago. They're paying for his trip, with help from United Airlines and Swisshotel.
