A psychologist's advice on talking with friends diagnosed with cancer

Cancer is not an easy topic to discuss. What should you say or do, when you find out a friend is diagnosed with the disease?
Dr. Timothy Pearman, a clinical psychologist at Northwestern Medicine and the Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center joined FOX Chicago News to offer some advice.
Dr. Pearman spoke on how to talk to friends who have been diagnosed, as well as some topics to avoid.
He also shared how he, as a psychologist, helps cancer patients keep their mental and emotional health in check.
