A watchdog group backed by Congress says more kids have died at a troubled Chicago nursing facility than previously thought.
The Chicago Tribune reported that Equip for Equality spent weeks investigating Alden Village North, which cares for disabled children and young adults.
The group found many problems, including illnesses that were not treated correctly.
They say at least five more deaths that previously thought can be attributed to poor care at the facility, and about 20 residents have died since 2008.
The investigation followed several articles in the Tribune which exposed neglect at Alden Village North.
