Audience member Theresa asks Dr. Oz and his food expert if she should keep tomatoes in the fridge, or out on the counter.

Audience member Layla had acne her entire life and asks Dr. Oz what the best home remedy is for treatment.

Dr. Oz asks Layla if she had acne before her first menstrual cycle, to which Layla replies that she did. Dr. Oz goes on to state that acne is caused by a variety of reasons, including the environment in which people live, stress factors, and from hormones.

Dr. Oz further explains that the skin is often a barometer of someone’s health and internal well being, and internal issues can often play into acne breakouts as well. Dr. Oz reiterates that it is important for one to investigate what is going in within one’s body, to pay attention to what goes into one’s body, and to identify the environmental factors and surroundings that might be a cause.
