Ahi Tuna Burger with Wasabi Aioli & Asian Slaw

Avocado contains heart smart fat and it adds loads of flavor to your favorite sandwich! Try it with an Ahi tuna burger this week.

Ahi Tuna Burger with Wasabi Aioli & Asian Slaw

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Amount: 4 servings

Ingredients:
1 pound ahi tuna steaks
½ cup Culinary Circle® Five Spice Teriyaki Marinade, divided
1 ½ cups coleslaw mix without dressing
½ cup Jewel® Light Mayonnaise, divided
¾ teaspoon wasabi paste
1 avocado, peeled, pitted, sliced
4 crusty dinner rolls

Directions:

  1. Place tuna steaks in a shallow dish; cover with marinade (reserving 2 tablespoons). Set aside.
  2. In medium bowl, combine coleslaw mix, ¼ cup mayonnaise and remaining 2 tablespoons marinade; toss to coat.
  3. In small bowl, combine remaining ¼ cup mayonnaise and wasabi paste.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add tuna steaks and sear on both sides, cooking until desired doneness is reached.
  5. Spread roll with aioli. Top with tuna steak, avocado slices and slaw.
