Grilling fruit is an excellent way to bring out the natural sweetness – the heat will caramelize the natural sugars, making it a better way to enjoy a sweet end to any meal. This is a simple way to make favorite stone fruits a great part of any meal. Try grilling any of your favorite stone fruits to also add to crisp green salads, too!

Grilled Peaches
with Vanilla Ice Cream & Balsamic Vinegar Drizzle

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Grill Time: 5 minutes
Amount: 4 servings

Ingredients:
2 Farm Stand® Yellow Peaches, halved, pits removed
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, divided
4 scoops Stone Ridge Creamery® Light Vanilla Ice Cream
- wild harvest® Fresh Mint Leaves, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Prepare grill to medium heat. Using 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, brush both sides of peaches. Place peaches on grill; grill, turning and brushing with vinegar occasionally, until caramelized and softened (about 5 minutes).
  2. Remove from grill and place each half, face up, on a dessert plate.
  3. Top with ice cream and drizzle with remaining balsamic vinegar. Garnish with mint, if desired.
