Cinnamon Raisin French Toast

Treat yourself and the family to a fancy breakfast at home! This recipe uses lighter ingredients like 1% milk and low fat yogurt. The taste and texture will be creamy and delicious, while this delicious dish makes a great way to start a chilly fall day. Serve with some sliced apples on the side and you have a great meal that the whole family will enjoy!

Ingredients:
½ cup wild harvest® Organic Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt
½ cup wild harvest® Organic 1% Milk
3 wild harvest® Organic Large Brown Eggs
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- wild harvest® Organic Butter
16 slices cinnamon raisin bread
- wild harvest® Organic 100% Pure Maple Syrup

Directions:

  1. In shallow bowl combine yogurt, milk eggs and cinnamon. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Heat a griddle or flat skillet over medium heat. Melt a small amount of butter on griddle, just to cover.
  3. Dip bread slices in egg mixture, soaking both sides. Place slices on griddle and cook until golden brown on both sides (about 1½-2 minutes per side). Remove from griddle; keep warm. Repeat with remaining bread. Serve hot with maple syrup.
