The sentencing hearing for Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
Blagojevich was found guilty of 17 counts of corruption in June. Each count carries a maximum penalty of five to 20 years, though experts believe he'll serve between 10 and 15 years.
The U.S. Department of Justice said that the hearing will begin at 10 a.m.
If necessary, court will also be in session on Dec. 7.
The government and defense have been instructed by Judge James Zagel to submit their sentencing memos by Nov. 30.
