Our Prep Star of the Week comes from Elgin, where senior Kory Brown has been burning up the basketball court.
The 6 foot 4 inch Brown had the biggest game of his career against Huntley, scoring 30 points to lead the Maroons in a win.
Brown was 10 for 13 from the field and 8 for 8 from the free throw line, not to mention he had seven rebounds and four assists.
Brown says he hopes to graduate from a great college where he hopefully will see a lot of playing time on the court.
His favorite basketball star of all time is Scottie Pippen.
