CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Bond was set Monday at more than $150,000 for two men charged with allegedly robbing a gas station at gunpoint in northwest suburban Rolling Meadows.

Randy M. Flowers, 23, and Karl C. Watson, 35, were both arrested at their home in the 400 block of Bonhill Drive in Arlington Heights Friday, a Rolling Meadows police release said.

They are accused of robbing a Mobil Gas Station located at 2101 Hicks Road in Rolling Meadows on Thursday at 12:20 a.m., the release said

The two men allegedly approached a gas station clerk and began making threats and demands for cash, the release said. Police said Flowers displayed a dark semi-automatic handgun during the robbery. An unknown amount of money and several Illinois Lottery tickets were taken, police said.

Bond was set Monday for Flowers at $200,000 and Watson at $150,000.
