CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Two people were found shot dead Tuesday night in their home in southwest suburban Palos Park.

Wojiech Puk, 53, and Larisa M. Markewych, 55, were both pronounced dead at the scene at 6:35 p.m. at their home in the 12300 block of Mohawk Road in Palos Park, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Each suffered a gunshot wound to the head, although the manner of their deaths was unclear Tuesday night, officials said.

Police are not seeking any suspects and there's no reason to believe there's any danger to the community, according to a post on police chief Joe Miller's Twitter page.

A death investigation is ongoing, and no one is in custody
