Executive Producer (Morning News): RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for an individual who will help break the mold of morning television via enterprise segment creation, colorful/diverse contributor and guest development to become part of a smart, savvy morning news team. Direct planning, content selection, content development, formatting and overall editorial direction for a five and a half hour morning news block. The AM EP will be directly responsible overseeing newscasts producers, morning news crews, production staff, as well as, approve scripts, and edit copy. Story and future planning, social media campaigns, critiquing programs and evaluating staff are essential components of the position. Ability to perform all other duties as assigned. Approve and regulate expenses. REQUIREMENTS: Top candidates must have 5 or more year's television newscast executive producing/writing experience. Prior news management experience necessary. Superior creativity and organizational skills essential. Must be resourceful, cost efficient, have strong production and technical knowledge, be able to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure. Good interpersonal skills and an understanding of budgetary issues necessary. Moderate stair climbing, standing, sitting at workstation, and bending.

VP/General Sales Manager: RESPONSIBILITIES: The VP/Sales General Manager will develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue by improving market share on a continual basis in order to achieve station financial goals, supervise, motivate and drive local and national sales managers, account executives, traffic and research staff, forecast and analyze market conditions, develops strategy for FOX 32 sales department business plan and business practices. Maintains a culture of initiative, responsibility and accountability that results in a "best of class" reputation from our customers. REQUIREMENTS: Degree in related field and minimum 10 years television sales experience required. Successful track record of growing share on a continual basis. Experience as general sales manager at a broadcast television station including prior experience in both local and national sales with prior sales management experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of television sales, research, traffic, programming and finance essential. Extensive knowledge of web sales strategies will also be vital. Knowledge of FCC regulations and program formatting a must. Strategic thinker with solid management and leadership skills required. Proficiency in broadcast industry applications and the ability to analyze market trends essential. Dynamic and charismatic personality with strong leadership abilities required.

Web Producer: JOB DESCRIPTION: The Web producer will be responsible for all aspects of the Stations' web sites, including but not limited to the production and maintenance of news content and special sections, audio/visual production, and monitoring the site for quality control purposes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with the Sr. Web Producer and broadcast producers to manage all production/quality aspects of Stations' web sites. Conceptualize/produce high profile creative on-line material. Perform duties of on-line writer/producer, specializing in print style writing, copy editing and editorial gathering. Facilitate the editorial gathering of local web news, gleaning information from various sources and contacts and reproducing the above material into strong compelling web material. Manage video distribution and live streaming. Oversee writing and distribution of news headlines, with use of search engine (SEO) strategies. Contributes heavily to station's social media outreach. Acquire content from contributors and content providers, clear rights, and post to Web site. Applications include HTML, JSP, FLASH and Photoshop. Interface with editorial managers and supervisors from the broadcasting side of newsroom to create a cohesive working atmosphere, integrating web content into the station's on-air news product and vice-versa. Monitor the submission of user-generated content, and work with producers to facilitate the use of said content in the station's on-air news product. Responsible for monitoring/updating mobile applications. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in journalism or equivalent preferred plus 2-3 years of web production experience. Position demands excellent print/web writing, web editing, interface design and web production skills. Handle multiple demands and competing priorities simultaneously in a strict deadline-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work under pressure as a cohesive member of a team. Highly skilled in all areas of a/v digitizing, editing and encoding techniques. Advanced knowledge of Internet publishing software and content management systems. Strong understanding of the social media universe (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.). Highly skilled in search-engine optimization (SEO) practices. Understanding of user on-line behavior. Knowledge of web production traffic reporting and ad serving systems. Solid understanding of web standards, design and usability. Knowledge of common web and application architectures. Knowledge of print and broadcast newsroom standards and styles. Experience in web site development desirable with knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver. Working knowledge of Flash and JavaScript a plus.

Creative Services Manager: The Creative Services Manager is responsible for helping to create and sustain strong and effective competitive brand positions that increase ratings and revenue for a wide variety of on and off-air marketing initiatives at the Fox Duopoly in Chicago, IL. This position maintains daily communications with the Graphics Hub in Tampa as well as the internal Promotions Supervisor and the Las Vegas Hub, to insure smooth operations and strategic promotion of daypart program scheduling. The Creative Services Manager upholds the brand standards for both stations within the duopoly and on a daily basis is responsible for making sure all staff promo producers and artists are executing to precise and specific brand standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conceptualize and execute brand strategies at the cutting edge, in such a way that our duopoly will hold the competitive lead in Chicago in terms of rating and revenue performance. Production of powerful, market-leading image identity campaigns. Production of compelling spots that take a unique approach and connect with viewers in very untraditional ways. Ability to be an intelligent risk-taker with demonstrable ability to motivate a staff of promo producers and various artists. Increase viewer tune-in through the production of top quality promotions. REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years experienced Avid, Final Cut and/or Adobe Premier. Minimum of 5 years experience in broadcast television is required; production or cable experience is a plus. Must have excellent communication skills, high levels of self-initiative and a positive, proactive "get it done" attitude. Strong writing/producing/editing Fox 32 Chicago news and non-news promotions for FOX 32 and My50 under deadlines. Degree in Communications field. Flexibility to meet tight deadlines. Ability to execute distinct marketing and branding strategies. Avid platform experience a strong plus. Motion design skills. Strong writing skills. Good understanding of how to sell news stories and station programming to target demographics. Ability to produce promos with a distinctive, trademark edge. Production of image identity campaigns.

General Ledger Accountant: RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate will work with finance managers to prepare monthly P&L, reconcile all G/L and Bank accounts and assist in month end close (i.e., journal entries and month end management reporting). Will assist managers in financial & operational analysis and coordinate all intercompany accounts with corporate office and other stations as well as posting daily logs and applying cash receipts to the traffic/billing system and contributing to the annual planning process. REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have a B.A. degree in accounting or finance with 2-3 years of public or private corporate accounting experience. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis towards hands-on Excel experience and strong general PC knowledge/skills. Must have the ability to interface with staff and senior management. Broadcasting industry experience a plus.

Director of Finance: RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate will be responsible for the weekly/monthly/quarterly flash and forecast for WPWR, inclusive of all Hyperion reporting. In addition, will act as the back up for WFLD in the absence of the Director, Finance. Candidate will have responsibility for all aspects of this dual station operation's Fixed Asset accounting and depreciation forecasting; Daily accounting of all syndicated amortization, including the preparation of all barter valuation paperwork. Candidate will assists in the annual preparation of the stations' budgets (operating as well as capital). REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have experience in staff supervision, adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures as well as accounting principles and policies. Should possess a degree in Accounting with five years experience in broadcasting or related field and must be detailed oriented. Other required qualities include the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and a high level of computer literacy (Excel a must). Familiarity with Integrated accounting (Peoplesoft) and traffic (Wide Orbit) system is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to work in a fast paced environment needed.

Topical Promo Producer: The Topical News Promo-Producer will write, produce and edit promos, including daily topicals, station and news image spots, POP's, network prime and program spots for the Fox Duopoly in Chicago, IL. RESPONSIBILITIES: Writing/producing/editing FOX 32 News promotions under deadlines. Production of image identity campaigns. Production of compelling spots that take a unique approach and connect with viewers. Increase viewer tune-in through the production of top quality promotions. REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years experienced Avid, Final Cut, and/or Adobe Premier. Degree in Communications field. Flexibility to meet tight deadlines. Ability to execute distinct marketing and branding strategies. Strong commercial and/or copy-writing skills with an understanding of how to sell news stories and station programming to target demographics. Ability to produce promos with a distinctive, trademark edge. Production of image identity campaigns.

Digital Sales Manager: The FOX O&O Duopoly in Chicago is seeking a dynamic sales professional to develop, maintain and grow revenue for all digital properties including sales for myfoxchicago.com as well as our mobile and emerging platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate must be able to develop and execute multifaceted deals, create solid sales marketing presentations, and work closely with local and national sales teams in order to facilitate consistent market share growth and achieve sales revenue goals. Individual must be a proven leader who quickly identifies opportunities and is able to move the sales process forward. Candidate will be responsible for monthly forecasts, quarterly budgets, new business objectives and consistent monitoring of digital sales goals. REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must possess a working knowledge of all digital metrics, technologies and research tools. Strong relationships with key ad agency personnel and experience in direct sales with interactive agencies and clients is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of online and mobile advertising; effective verbal and written communication skills along with strong time management and demonstrated presentation skills. Candidate must have 3-5 years of solid sales experience with a proven track record of sales results. Must be detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Per Diem Writer: RESPONSIBILITIES: Write stories assigned by producers, gather facts, find video and oversee editing of stories. Responsible for story content and accuracy. Perform duties of line producer when assigned. Must perform all other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate. REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have 2-3 years writing experience, experience as a line producer and computer knowledge preferred. Must be creative, concise, detail oriented, able to handle deadline pressure and take direction from producers. Reliability, good news judgment, and factual accuracy are crucial. Heavy sitting at workstation, light standing, bending, walking, and stair climbing are also required.

Account Executive: The Fox O&O duopoly in Chicago is looking for a highly motivated salesperson to join our team. Candidate must have a strong track record of increasing station revenue/share on existing business and the ability to develop new business. Additionally, candidate must have excellent communication and presentation skills and thrive in a fast paced environment. Solid computer skills and knowledge of industry software is a must. 3-5 years sales experience in a top ten market is preferred.
