DETROIT (AP) - Moises Sierra had four hits to lift the Chicago White Sox to a 7-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers yesterday. The game quickly became a secondary concern in the Motor City when the Tigers acquired star left-hander David Price from Tampa Bay in a three-team deal. Joakim Soria hit Paul Konerko with the bases loaded in the seventh to give the White Sox a 5-4 lead.

DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Tigers have added another Cy Young Award winner to their star-studded rotation by acquiring Tampa Bay's David Price in three-team blockbuster yesterday. The Rays received left-hander Drew Smyly and minor league infielder Willy Adames from the Tigers. Detroit outfielder Austin Jackson is going to the Mariners.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) - Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell says he took players out to dinner during the offseason to serve them better as their leader. Caldwell has had a calming presence on his new team. At least a couple players say his approach is a refreshing change.

DENVER (AP) - The Denver Nuggets reached deals with first-round picks Jusuf Nurkic and Gary Harris yesterday. The team picked up the rights to both players in a draft-night trade with Chicago that sent high-scoring Creighton forward Doug McDermott to the Bulls along with forward Anthony Randolph. Harris averaged 16.7 points and 2.7 assists last season for Michigan State.
