Robert Schimmel Dies Of Crash Injuries

(NewsCore) - Controversial U.S. comedian Robert Schimmel, best known for his work on the "Howard Stern Show," has died from injuries he sustained in a car accident, TMZ reported Saturday.

Schimmel, 60, was the passenger in a serious car accident after his 19-year-old daughter, who was driving at the time, swerved to avoid an accident on an Arizona freeway.

His daughter, and Schimmel's 11-year-old son, who was also in the car, were taken to the hospital where the younger child was treated and discharged.

His daughter was expected to make a full recovery, TMZ reported.
