Kori's Shoutout To Local Singer

Here’s a Shout Out to a local women who is using her voice to help feed the hungry.

Julie sparks is a local singer who found herself inspired to help others during these tough economic times.

Her song, “Out of the Blue”, is available on iTunes and a potion of the proceeds will go directly to the Northern Illinois Food bank.

Since its release on May 29th of this the year, the song has already helped to raise over $1,000 .

One thing that makes this story even more inspiring is the fact that Sparks recently lost her job and was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. None of that has stopped her drive to help others.
