Kori's Shoutout: Troop Supporters

How about a Good Day Shoutout to some folks who found a sweet way to support the troops.

These are pictures from the Meyer Dental Group in Des Plaines,

They've been buying back candy -- that will be going to the troops along with cards and well wishes.

We mentioned it Monday and since then, they've collected hundreds of pounds of candy.

They'll wrap the program, which is giving kids a dollar a pound, at 1 p.m. today.

Students at DeKalb High School were also getting in the action -- doing a candy collection of their own for troops. Sophomore Jack Boyce and his older sister, Colleen, organized the whole thing.
