How about a Good Day Shoutout to some young musicians who were rocking out for a great cause.

These are pictures from the Battle of the Bands event held at Hanson Brothers Tavern in Northbrook.

Twelve local bands from area middle schools rocked out in front of three judges to help Haiti.

The first Battle of the Bands raised $720 for Haiti’s earthquake victims.
