How about a Good Day shoutout to some folks giving their time to teach one of the most important skills you can have.

You might not realize it, but there are 42 million Americans that can't read.

Literacy DuPage is trying to change that.

They just held an event in Naperville training volunteers who will be helping teach adults how to read.

Last year they taught 470 adults.
