Lanes Re-Open After Bishop Ford Wreck

South Holland, Ill. - A motorist who was trapped inside a car was injured during a collision with a semi truck Friday morning on the outbound Bishop Ford Freeway (I-94) near south suburban South Holland.

At 7:05 a.m. a semi and a car collided near 159th Street, causing the driver of the car to become trapped inside the vehicle, according to Illinois State Police District Chicago Trooper Jason Lococo.

The driver of the car was hurt but did not suffer life threatening injuries, according to Lococo.

The driver was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.

All lanes were reopened by 8:30 a.m., police said.
