Bears Teammates Help Save Child's Life

Chicago Bears players, Adewale Ogunleye and Israel Idonije recently took a goodwill trip to Nigeria where they met a four year old girl who was in desperate need of an operation. Segun Ashman needed a heart operation to save her life, and the players split the cost to fly the girl and her mother to the United State so the surgery could be done. The Heart Gift Foundation of Austin, Texas performed the surgery for free.

Adewale Ogunleye and Israel Idonije talked to Mike and Jan about the experience in saving this young girl’s life.
